Kylie Brown headed to Creighton and the Big East

By Fury Staff

Kylie Brown, 6'3" forward from Simley High School has made her college decision, and she will be headed to Creighton University in Omaha, NE.

Kylie has been with the Fury program since 8th grade, and is now in her third year playing for Fury Director Nick Storm, on the 2014 Elite team.  Kylie just keeps getting better and better, and the sky is the limit in how good she can be. There aren't many kids in the entire country at Kylie's height who can do the things she can athletically and in terms of handling the ball and attacking the basket.

Creighton is a private catholic school in Omaha, NE, under the direction of head coach Jim Flannery.  This fall they will be leaving the Missouri Valley Conference to join the Big East Conference.  Last season, the Blue Jays won 25 games, including a win over Syracuse in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Kylie is the 3rd player on the Minnesota Fury 2014 Elite team to make a college decision. She joins Katie Quandt (Boston College) and Ellie Thompson (South Dakota State)
