Katie Quandt chooses Boston College

We are extremely happy to announce that Katie Quandt, 6'4" junior post from Lakeville South has verbally committed to Boston College University.

"Katie first starting in the Minnesota Fury program when she was in 7th grade. We have watched her just keep getting better and better.  She has been a joy to work with," says Nick Storm, Minnesota Fury Director and Katie's coach for 3 summer seasons. "She is such a great kid that just soaks up everything you say. All she wants to do is keep getting better."

Boston College is in the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) and Katie is very excited for the challenge of playing teams like Duke and North Carolina twice a year! The Eagle's head coach is Erik Johnson, who will be starting his second season there this winter. Coach Johnson is back at BC, where he spent 9 years as an assistant, after a successful stint as the head coach at Denver.
