Ellie Thompson pledges South Dakota State

Ellie Thompson, 6'1 junior forward, from Chaska High School has made a verbal committment to South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD.  She chose South Dakota State over Creighton, Drake, and American.

We are extremely happy for Ellie and excited for her future as a Jackrabbit!  Ellie seems to be a perfect fit with the style of play at SDSU and she has a lot of family very close to Brookings.  She is the first player in our Class of 2014 to verbal in what promises to be a long line of many!

Ellie has been voted Missota All Conference for the past two seasons and has led Chaska in scoring and rebounding.
